Great for entertainment!
[UPDATE: I am upgrading back to five stars because I do love this product so I spoke with QC at Reliance Products who is very interested in what could have malfunctioned and are working with me to figure it out and make it right][UPDATE 2: Reliance Products could not have been more friendly and helpful. They have not said anything about why the seat may have failed but they are sending a replacement. In my case I believe it was because of the way the straps of the cover pulled against the fabric when using it as a seat, either they are too short or I was mounting it wrong. On my new seat I will be looking out for that.]I sat on this a few times to test it out and it worked great, then stashed in the back of my van with my poop-up shelter to have available for on the road emergencies. Then one day I showed up at the campground and discovered I had forgot my folding chairs, which disappointed me until I remembered my tri-to-go is not only a stool dispenser but also a camp stool.Taking position at the head of the camp fire I was regaling the 20+ members of my group with one of my hilarious entertaining stories and almost to the punch line when suddenly the seat material just disintegrated on two corners, the sudden weight shift snapped one of the plastic seat cover clips, and the seat displayed a hitherto unknown ability to lay flat on the ground. For a moment I was suspended like a cartoon victim blithely blathering on until gravity took over and my heels and butt exchanged elevations. My audience laughed even harder than they had the first time I had told my story. I was humiliated and only able to work past it because my lightening fast reflexes had managed to catch my beer before I hit the ground. The seat is rated for 300 lb and I am still short of that milestone. The material does not seem rotten and the seams were still intact but the material seemed to have destructed from the center of each corner simultaneously. I am investigating the possibility of making a new seat using the old one as a template because I love the concept of this stool/stool dispenser. The size is great and it can be stashed anywhere. I even took it for a whitewater kayak ride one time when my body was hinting at signs of instability. This item would rate five stars if one could depend on it.

Compact and Convenient!
I road trip a lot and generally camp in my car while spending time at National or State Parks. Using the bathroom discreetly was always my main concern. And having space to store a bathroom setup. This chair serves two purposes, and no one would ever know it was a toilet, unless I pointed it out. Anyway, I love that I can set it up quickly and store it away just as expeditiously. I've been using it consistently for 14 days so far, no issues or complaints. I hope it lasts a long time. If I ever run into the problem of the fabric wearing, I figured I'd just reinforce it with an iron on patch of sorts. For those that figure weight/body size... I'm 5'1" and 130lbs. Holds my weight well...hope this helps!

Buy it for a toilet, not a chair.
I got this for my gf, and she loves it. Personally, I'm afraid to sit on it. I think I tried once and she was saying that it looked like the seams were starting to stretch out. I'm a skinny guy too. I suppose it could be used as a chair as well in a pinch, but in reality, it's probably always going to be used as a toilet. Please don't buy this because you think you'll have a toilet when you need and a chair when you need. You're just going to leave it in toilet mode all the time. If you want it to last and feel more comfortable with it, I'd suggest reinforcing the stitching. Also, make sure you sit down on it and get up off it carefully so as to minimize stress on it. It's small, lightweight, and compact -- that's probably the best thing about this.If my gf didn't love it to death, I think I give this product 3 stars. But a happy gf means a happy bf, and that's worth one star right there.

Do not buy this until they improve the quality of fabric or reinforce it. Amazon screwed me on the refund.
Other reviews indicate fabric tears. Believe it. I weigh 280lbs. I used it once as a camp chair and the fabric shredded. Weight rating was 300lbs. Either the fabric is rotten or simply inadequate to the task. With more durable fabric, this would be a great product. Weighs 3 lbs. I would include a photo but can't figure out how. Fabric tore on two corners. The seams on one corner and the fabric on the other where a strap is sewn in.Another solution to add strength without significant weight penalty is to run a reinforcing strap around the perimeter under the cloth cover, to limit the stress on the fabric itself and provide more support to that end. (no pun intended)Returned defective to Amazon and received only partial refund with no explanation. This is bad business Amazon! Would have contacted Amazon directly regarding this obvious screw-job but they don't make that easy.

Great deal and easy to use.
Great value and a total life saver. My friends and I used this at 13,000 feet after a VERY bumpy jeep ride up Imogene Mtn in CO. They were all thankful I bought this contraption. It's very easy to use and the bags that are recommended for this work like a champ. If you need a portable toilet that is compact, get this one.

Bit too wobbly
I bought all 3 toilets to determine which would work best in my minivan on long road trips as I’ve found it can be very hard to find restrooms when you need them. Pic shows different heights, the green cloth one is 19” high- I measured it. While it was comfy to sit on, it was not stable & the legs do not lock into position. While it fit in the space I have for it, it was just a bit too wobbly for my liking. And, as many other reviewers noted the fabric/stitching do not seem durable enough. I returned it and went with the round black one. Although lowest of the 3 at 11”, it was stable & easily fit the space it needed to.

Awesome
This is great. Works great for camping. So sturdy. The only thing is the cover to put on after you put on the bag is super loose; just doesn't fit snug. Otherwise, this is super awesome. I'm so glad I bought it. I love camping but hate going up to porta potties. So, this is great and buying extra biodegradable bags of any kind (should be 30 gal) works great. Also, the design includes a piece of material that keeps the bag in place and not on the ground. Good job on this one!
