Size
We needed a compression bag for a down sleeping bag rated for 20 degrees weather and is waterproof. We were impressed by how small the bag got. My son is going on a 2 week backpack trip with Boy Scouts so we needed all the room we could get in his bag. This helped give him extra room in his bag which was needed. I have attached a picture of the before and after next to a travel hygiene bag comparison.

Simple, works.
Need a compression bag for a sleeping bag for an upcoming backpacking trip. Perfect fit, and bonus points: came packaged in a flat cardboard box. Easy to recycle.

More changes shape of what you're compressing, but too wide for my needs.
I can see a use for these, but not what I need. When you compress it just makes everything wider and shorter; not necessarily a smaller footprint. I was hoping it would make it easier to carryy tent or sleeping bag, but it just changed the shape of the container. For what I need, I actually found both less cumbersome in their original packaging. This would work for some people, but not for me.

Great customer service
Used this compression sac quite often over the past few years and had no issues. Recently one of the clips broke so I contacted customer service for a replacement. They promptly sent me a replacement sac.

Great quality
This is a great compression sack. I don't know what happened to my sleeping bag sack so was thrilled to find this. Not something you're likely to pack by yourself, so find a friend. Sturdy material and great buckles. Quality product.

Bought 4 for Annapourna circuit trek in nepal
After just under three weeks of trekking and averaging over 20,000 steps per day. These compressions sacks help up pretty well and helped organize my clothes easily.Quality: one of the buckles broke on a larger size compression bag, I did pull this compression sack out of my hiking bag by the buckle but not a lot of force was used. That was early on. The product sinched well. Water resistance is more a misnomer than reality. A couple time my hiking bag got wet from rain with rain fly on, and a couple of a these compression bags got light a light wetness on them and the clothes inside got wet. These are not, water resistant. Other than that the compression bags performed as expected. I would use again.

Looks well made
Seems well made. I like the double stitching. I ordered a second and will report back if I run into issues.
