My vet wanted me to try this for my Winnie when she had another bout of diarrhea even after having her on proviable for some time. She my nervous anxious reactive girl having a rough go before I got her with an abusive situation and then it didn't help a neighbor dog came out and but her dragging his leash on our walk uo the street....may have her the stress added. This comes in a convenient zip pouch and is just psyllium. It has her back with regular poops. I just give her a tsp with added water in the am with her dry and canned food and when she needs her 2nd dose tried with just water and chicken broth but she didn't quite finish so trying to go back and give it with some dry food added with 1/4 cup chicken broth with rhe same amount of water. Sh had a day she didn't have much of an appetite is why I decided to just try it with rhe liquid.

It does not fully dissolve, the taste isn’t great and while I’m not 100% I think it’s caused some dark spots on my… umm… how can I put this delicately… my bm’s.I’ve been having some gut issues the past year and I’ve taken this a few times once per day to not great results. After being tired of spending way too much money on other supplements that are both trendy social media & popular within the LGBTQ+ community I decided to try this 1 last time because the price point is much more favorable. Instead this time I decided to do 1 scoop in the morning & 1 in the evening and it’s completely different than last time. It’s so helpful. I noticed an improvement pretty quickly.I like that it’s not a product with a ton of ingredients. The sealing on the bag hasn’t been nearly the headache I thought it would be which is an unexpected benefit.I try my best to drink it 30-60 minutes before eating and not within 2-3 hours of any other supplement or pill

I have a dog with IBD disease and I needed this for a fiber supplement in his meals. I was hesitant at first due to him being a picky eater and ANYTHING like this , he would just turn his nose up to. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this has no scent or flavor and I am able to sprinkle this on his meals without him even knowing. It's quite effective as by day 2 his stools were firming right up again and his tummy grumbles were stopping altogether. I did find this easier to distribute by putting it in a saltshaker for even distribution. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is the bag it comes in is SUCH a pain to close once it's opened. The powder gets stuck in the tracks of the zipper and is near impossible to seal up properly. I wish they would put this in a bottle or can instead. I ended up putting the bag in a ziplock to keep it fresh. I will 100% be ordering this product again.

I had gone to 2 other vet clinics with my dog that was having bowl problems. The first two prescribed medication and none of it worked. This supplement was the one that worked, NO prescription but it worked and relieved my dog of her problems within a day. The prescriptions I was given for the other drugs did NOT work at all. I was told by a Canadian friend that it was what she'd used with her dogs before, she told me why it worked and it's the one that vets do recommend up there. I'm relieved and so is my dog. It's Just! Psyllium Husk Powder and Nothing Else! did the job other medications didn't.

It is a fraction of the cost of Metamucil. It mixes OK. I had no stomach upset. BUT rinse your glass and spoon thoroughly. Then rinse the sink. If any of this product dries on a surface, it hardens into something resembling brown concrete.

Works great as recommended by the vet. Gross - anal expressions of the dogs are no longer needed by the vet !!

Really wanted to like this since the flavor of plain psyllium husk powder is just not good. But, the orange flavor just did not do it for me.And, at twice the cost per ounce of the plain version, I'll be going back to plain.

I purchased this to try in a gluten-free bread recipe. Psyllium is used for a replacement of gluten - I need to try other recipes, because the crust was so thick, I couldn't even cut thru with a bread knife. I normally use xanthan gum, but was told that the bacteria of it would cancel out the good bacterium in sourdough bread
