The Complete Book of Knitting (Dover Knitting, Crochet, Tatting, Lace) Paperback – June 13, 2012

I purchased the paper copy in 1972. I was happy to find it in hardcover. Great instructions for learning to crochet.

An older publication not as polished as current publications on the topic. Yet I will keep this in my knitting library over new items. Instructions are fluid and clear. Great knitting reference item.

The shape of the book was great for its age. It is exactly like a copy that my daughter purchased from a discount store in Lompoc, CA for around $8.00 about 15 years ago. My wife always wanted a copy of this book but when our child left home so did her book with all of its great knitting instructions and patterns. This is, therefore, my wife's replacement copy. Thanks for sensible pricing and to the previous owner for the good care given The Complete Book of Knitting.Thanks

I paid over twenty dollars for the Complete Book of Knitting and was dissapointed when it arrived, it looked well used, when ordering the book there were lots of 'used' but I opted for the new. The book itself was a gift and my daughter in law loves it, anything you ever want to know about knitting is in that book.

Arrived in great condition - minus the full color dust jacket, which was strange as it is in the description. Spine, binding, and pages are just fine despite its age.

THe book arrives within the time window and was a little rougher that i thought it would be. It is still useable as a reference for knitting.

This cannot possibly be a "first edition" published in 1905!The book by Abbey with this title was first printed in 1971.

Lots of photos of all kinds of stitches with instructions included for all of them.
