Works as expected

Works well and the nice thing is it cleans very easy as filament does not stick to the nozzle as normal brass nozzles, and prints are real good, also I found that it was not necessary to do any temp adjustments from my standard profiles for my Prusa MK3S+ for the different filaments that I use. Just be careful and understand all the finnicky issues that comes to the maintenance this nozzle, example don't use paper towel to clean the nozzle as it is abrasive to remove the non stick coating and you cannot do cold pulls as per the E3D docs as it can damage the coating inside the nozzle .... now I just wish E3D can release the revo obsidian nozzle system so that I can swop out hardened nozzles easier

Great fit

Purchased for my Prusa Mini. It’s expensive for a nozzle but hopefully will be the last I’ll need to buy. I didn’t notice any differences in print quality from my brass nozzle to this one. I print a lot with carbon fiber filament and have not noticed any obvious wear.I do notice filament sticking to the nozzle but not to the extent I was with the brass nozzle. It seems to come off easily. Overall I am happy with the E3D nozzle and will be purchasing for my other printers.

Worth every penny!

This will be my go-to nozzle from here on our after years of cheap knock off brass nozzles doing me dirty.

Best nozzle for printing abarsive materials

This is the best nozzle for abrasive materials. Carbon fiber, glass, ceramic, glow in the dark, all excellent. Yes, eventually, you will even wear out this nozzle. It lasts just as long or longer than the ruby, diamond and tungsten nozzles for a third of the cost. And nevermind those novice reviewers who use this nozzle for PLA and petg! Wrong nozzle for those plastics. They should be using copper or brass. But for the abrasive filaments, this is the one to have.

Love it

Have these on 2 of my printers now and absolutely love them. They stay clean which is amazing but they seem to help with retraction as well with the special coating that is on it. I generally only use about .4-.8mm on direct e3d without stringing. I had many issues with stringing on standard brass nozzles. The first one I got for my mk3s when these first came out (1-2 years ago (?) has been printing non stop with all kinds of filament including lots of highly abrasive plastics. It produces prints that look the same quality wise to a newer setup I am working on with a brand new nozzle x. Love them.

Wrong size

1* Overall for finally realizing all my frustrations were not with my printer, but with the wrong nozzle size being sent.5* for Quality (at the correct layer height)3* for Value (it's kinda pricey)I have been messing around with this nozzle since I ordered it. I ordered it as a step up from my copper ones thinking it wouldn't get clogged as often, but I was proved very wrong. All my other nozzles were pretty messed up when I got this one so I threw them all away. This thing was clogging very frequently, but they were mostly soft clogs. I could cool to hot end down to 100C and pull the clog out of the hot end with the filament. But, I started messing around with it and tuning and I started getting some really nice high detail prints at a layer height of around 0.12mm. I finally tried to print at 0.2mm again and I got a massive clog that I am having to disassemble the entire hot end to clean out. Come to fine out after taking the nozzle off that my 0.4mm nozzle is actually a 0.2mm nozzle. I had heard of some quality issues with these in the past with these nozzles not being completely smooth on the inside causing some weird artifacts, but I had never heard of people just receiving the wrong size. When it comes down to quality...when I was printing at 0.12mm it was doing great. No clogs, very consistent printing...but finding out I was sent the wrong size nozzle months ago and that's why I had so many issues printing at higher layer heights has really put a damper on things and caused a lot of frustration where it wasn't needed...

Mixed results

When i first go this nozzle, it was terrible, i couldnt get anything to extrude with it to save my life, even though other nozzles were working fine.I tried it again after a variety of other changes and its actually been performing surprisingly well. Not sure what the difference was exactly
