Ok this tent is heavy, it ain't for backpacking unless you're sharing the load, what it is is very good quality, easy to erect ( Fly first as well ). Its very roomy. I'm 6'5 and fit in it fine, infact my hiking partners tent failed and they ended up sharing with me and a big German shepherd as well. It's stood up to a hell of a Scottish winter storm in Glencoe and didn't leak or get wet on the inside. It has plenty of room for admin and kit, also a black out door. Like I said it's heavy and I usually use the Snugpak Ionesphere when hiking in the mountains. It's actually a 5 star tent but the weight let's it down, if you're a roadside wild camper then this is ideal and portable enough to carry a fair distance, you just don't wanna be climbing big mountains with it!I will say its easier to put up than other tents that use the spider pole system! Once up its like a bomb shelter with regards to the weather, I slept like a log through a gale in it 😴 🙌

Seriously good tent. I bought this because my Vango let me down. Snugpak is much better made. I would not like to put three people in it....it would be snug, but two is fine.I really like the black out room, helps you sleep a lot better. The tent packs down quite small and light, I use this on my motorcycle so needed a tent small and light with a porch. I think I made a good choice very impressed. Thank you Snugpak.

I haven't used yet this tent,but I think should be good product overall, just only issue Snugpak is UK company, but is made in China,well I will see how good is this product,hope I will not be disappointed

Stitching was a bit off in one section when i tested it, just looked messy and badly done, butthis is made in china like a lot of snugpak items are these days! Witch is sad given the companies origins...well designed and proportioned tent, given the price/design and quality of materials id say the tent was worth the money, and is priced accordingly.. snugpak have sold out somewhat i feel with the manufacturing if there products, i also bought a tarp of theres with “made in china on it to”👎 no price on pride of workmanship and witch country manufactured anymore? Sad but true...

The tent actually gets 5 stars, it's a great piece of kit that feels like it's built to last.The poles don't push through the sleeves very easy, but I think that's due to it being new, and how thick and durable the sleeve material is.It's also simple enough to pitch, stood up to high winds and heavy rain no problem on its first outing.The dark interior is a nice touch too, but it does make things look a different colour in sunlight.(I went to sleep by torchlight in a green sleeping bag then woke up in the sunlight and it was red) would highly recommend this tent though I don't think I'll be changing it for a long time.The reason for the 1 star rating is the hidden charges that the seller and Amazon themselves didn't state, which were not included in the price which was paid when ordering.I only found this out when the courier in the UK sent me a letter saying they would not deliver the parcel until the charges were paid in full.So what your led to believe is the best price on the net, actually isn't.£279.99 tent, plus the delivery charges of nearly £60. Sneaky move Amazon!!I would of let the courier return it to sender if it wasn't needed before a replacement could be delivered.
